What is Candida?
According to Dr Ben Johnson of Osmosis Skin Care: “Candida is part of a healthy bacterial population in the gut that overgrows and therefore becomes a source of toxin production. There are 56 strains and this means it could result in 56 different versions of disease. Some have multiple overgrown strains. Antibiotics, hormones (including pregnancy) and sugar promote it”.
What Skin Conditions Does Candida Create?
Forehead Acne: Small bumps or cysts caused by candida overgrowth in the gut. This will often be accompanied by acne on cheeks and temples.
Rosacea & Acne Rosacea on Lower/Middle Cheek Bone: Redness and/or acne in this region is from bacterial or candida overgrowth, ulcers, and digestive issues in the small intestines.
Rosacea on Lateral to Nose area: Redness next to the nose is caused by gastritis or H. Pylori overgrowth in the stomach.
Acne on Lower Cheeks/Jawline: Bumps or cysts caused by estrogenic toxins and testosterone imbalance. Commonly affecting the mid-face, neck, chest, and back.
Eczema: Eczema is the result of digestive tract inflammation often caused by candida. Infants/toddlers have it passed on to them by mom, others develop it from diet or antibiotic use.
Psoriasis: Also the result of digestive tract inflammation often caused by candida AND is emotionally driven. Two Harmonized Waters are needed for this condition.
