Have you ever noticed how hard we can be on ourselves?
The hurtful chatter in our heads as we tear ourselves apart with comparison? Or we have a destructive behavior that leaves us feeling less than who we know ourself to be?
If you are like me, then the answer is YES.
What’s so cool is that we don’t have to stay captive to our negative self talk !
We create our reality and our day, attracting to us situations and people that validate our words and thoughts. So what kind of experience do you want? What steps can you take to attract this?
Upon waking, think about a fun possibility you’d like to be for the day… For example: I’d like to be the possibility of happiness. OR…. I’d like to be the possibility of fun and playfulness.
By doing this, you create an energy around you that will then attract happy people. You’ll be open to having fun and being playful. It’s like setting your radio station antenna and dialing in to a certain energy field.
How about becoming aware of the blessing surrounding you…. I know you’ve heard this before, and here is a gentle reminder: Write down three things you are grateful for every morning.
Example: I am grateful for having eyes to see the beauty around me. I am grateful for having a warm shower. I am grateful for having a car that transports me safely to places I need and want to go.
Surround yourself with uplifting people. Compliment others, as everyone has something beautiful about them. Choose healthy and alive food. Exercise. Listen to music with great lyrics. Volunteer and help others. Do something nice for someone. Choose words that are powerful in a positive way. Stay away from gossip. Be kind. Say please and thank you.
